According to the news in Odatv, former Lieutenant General Metin Iyidil was sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment on charges of teş attempting to abolish the constitutional order asında in the July 15 EDOK trial.
Recently, the appeal court examining the file of iyidil overturned the aggravated life imprisonment, acquitted him and ruled for his release.
Following this decision, the 21st Criminal Chamber of the Ankara Regional Courts of Justice today wrote a warrant to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office and asked for the arrest of İyidil.
