There is NO Referendum on 14 July 2023.
-As we have mentioned before, the Undersecretary of the Ministry does not have the authority to set a referendum date on his own, and unfortunately he persistently did this and brought the process to this point. The article shared by bir Sen in his statement reached us on July 11 and it was said to complete your preparations by July 7 (!)
– The referendum has never been postponed. The first application could not be made because it did not comply with the law, and the second application could not be made without the opinion of the parties and because the date was determined by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, although he did not have the authority.
– The date of the referendum is not decided by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, but by the Employer (Daü VYK) and the affiliated unions (EMU Per Sen and bir sen) and the Registrar of Trade Unions. In order to determine the date of the referendum, Daü Per-Sen and one sen were invited to the meeting twice by the President of the VYK, but a date could not be agreed upon by the parties since one sen did not attend the meetings.
– For this reason, Daü VYK Presidency, which is the employer, determined the date of the referendum as 02 August 2023 and sent it to the relevant Ministry. If you had attended the meetings, they would have had information about it.
