Four men arrested for assaulting a conductor in Haarlem | Inland

The men, aged 17, 18 and 23 from Amsterdam and an 18-year-old from Voorst, got up in the train and stood around the conductor. When the employee tried to walk away, the foursome blocked the road and one spat in his face. The train stopped shortly afterwards at Haarlem Spaarnwoude station and the conductor and the four boys got out. The conductor was then hit by three of them on the platform, threatened and headbutted.

After the abuse, the boys walked away in the direction of the Freedom Road. The police stopped the foursome on the Robert Nurksweg. The men have been transferred to the police station for questioning and the police are looking for witnesses.
