In addition to the slogan “I’m with you”, the telecommunications company Tigo joins the Teletón Foundation marathon for the twelfth consecutive year and invites all its clients to make their contributions through its donation channels.
The company will also make its contribution as a company and will make all its collaborators participate in this cause.
“At Tigo we promote initiatives with high social impact, which seek to connect people, improve lives and transform realities. For this reason, we are pleased to continue contributing to such an important cause, this is how we reaffirm our commitment to the Teletón Foundation, whom we have accompanied for 12 years ”, expressed Carlos Blanco, general director of Tigo Paraguay.
Although the Telethon marathon takes place on December 4 and 5, the channels that Tigo makes available are already enabled so that donations can be made from anywhere in the country.

The goal pursued by the Foundation will serve to support the rehabilitation services that they provide to thousands of children and adolescents throughout the country.
Mariana Flecha, Communications and Corporate Responsibility manager, explained that the company makes available to people who wish to collaborate with this important national cause, the traditional channel of donations via text messages.
“By sending the word TELETON at no cost to 220, all our users will be able to donate from G. 5,000 to G. 100,000. The selected amount will be debited from the client’s available balance ”, he mentioned.
Those who wish to donate from Tigo Money will have the possibility to load their wallet by approaching any of the 4,000 Tigo Money Points or more than 70 Tigo Stores. Once they have electronic money in their wallet, they can donate through the menu * 555 # option 4-Invoices and then option 8-Telethon. “Even those who are not clients can go to the Tigo Money points and make their donation,” explained Flecha.
“We know that this marathon will be very special and the channels we make available allow donations to come from all over the country, without people having to travel long distances or physically go to certain points. That is why we invite everyone to take advantage of them and donate through the channels of Tigo, joining this great celebration of solidarity, showing that once again we are for the children of Teletón ”, he concluded.
