Mexico City. The Metropolitan Autonomous University (UAM) will open on March 11 a new space for dialogue in the UAM ConCiencia program, which will be between scientists, the community of this university and society, on vital issues around vaccines against Covid-19 pandemic, the subject of the first season of a five-issue series.
Sergio Revah, director of Research Support (DAI) of this study house, reported that the objective is for humanists, technologists and artists to talk about various aspects to maintain and strengthen the dissemination of the scientific work of the institution, sharing knowledge and evidence derived from outstanding projects that have generated interest.
This instance will present in this edition experts who will speak on inoculations, although not only in the technical part, but also regarding the process, the effectiveness and the secondary impacts, which at this moment “concern us all”.
In addition to teachers from the UAM, specialists from other higher education centers will participate and even some involved in the production of biologicals and goods for diagnosis.
The episodes will be broadcast live –one every three weeks– on Thursdays at 5:00 p.m., through the UAM’s YouTube and Facebook channels, beginning with the approach to vaccines, in a season coordinated by Rafael Bojalil Parra , attached to the Department of Health Care of the Xochimilco Unit. The following will deal with relevant aspects of the investigation carried out by the three thousand academics of the University.
