Mexico City. In 24 hours, 10,139 new cases of Covid-19 were registered in Mexico and 564 deaths due to the disease, according to the daily report on the situation of the epidemic from the Ministry of Health.
The agency reported that 3 million 619 thousand 115 cases and 274 thousand 703 deaths have accumulated since the health emergency began.
The number of cases has decreased by 20 percent compared to the previous week. Likewise, 67,092 people presented signs and symptoms in the last 14 days, which is why they are considered active cases and represent 1.7 percent of the entire epidemic.
Meanwhile, 20 entities have reached 70 percent or more in vaccination coverage of the adult population with at least one dose against Covid-19, since the national day began on December 24, 2020.
