“La Barra de La Vera”: who is who in the gang that entered to rob the Quilmes retirement home

Last Friday, the fourth and last member of the gang that participated in the assault on the retiree’s house was arrested. Jorge Rios, that the last July 17 at dawn killed Franco “Piolo” Moreyra, the fifth criminal who entered his home, in the Buenos Aires party of Quilmes.

“Piolo” Moreyra, who as determined by the autopsy died after receiving two shots, one in the chest and one in the abdomen, had previous complaints about gender violencecauses by injuries and theft.

While “Dibu” Chara, the first detainee in the case, was one of those involved – along with the Dahmer brothers – in the death of Adrián Novillo, a 16-year-old boy brutally beaten at the exit of a bowling alley, who died in 2014 after spending 13 days in a coma.

Martín Salto he was the only one of the detainees who had no police record. Together with her parents, she approached the Quilmes DDI. However, according to what the Crime Chamber could know, in the neighborhood the neighbors assured that “it is terrible.”

David Cordoba, the last but one to be captured, had a open case for a robbery committed in 2019, but did not progress.

The most complicated was Dahmerwho adds two convictions for robbery: one until July 2021, but it came out in April due to the coronavirus.

In the first of the causes, the “Peque”, as he is known in the neighborhood for his stature, he was detained with a minor. And even though this it’s an aggravating for the Penal Code, the judge decided not to contemplate it and gave him a conditional sentence three years.

Then, fell again for another robbery and it was there when a magistrate of Quilmes decided to make an abbreviated trial and unify the probation with the last. Thus, he was sentenced to four and a half years in prison, but did not meet them because they released him earlier, in the middle of the pandemic.

Jorge Rios remains with home prison since last Monday, when they gave him that benefit after two days of being detained at the 4th Quilmes Police Station, suffered decompensation. The 71-year-old retiree is accused of aggravated murder, and the Justice must determine if it was a murder in legitimate defense or if there were excesses.

Ríos sent an audio to the TN, Crime Chamber in which he assured: “I am afraid, I was not born to kill”. The retiree’s family said that they are going to sell the house and are moving because they received threats.
