L12 of the Metro CdMx. Family believed a young man on the street was dead

A second chance

After being interviewed by a digital medium, Miguel Córdova detailed how he was saved from being crushed by trab that fell near the Olivos Metro on May 4, and his story was shared hundreds of times.

His sister Juana María affirmed that social networks gave him a second chance at life, since the fact that he went viral could confirm that his brother was not dead.

“He gave us a second chance to see him, I don’t know what would have happened if he was dead now from that accident,” he mentioned.

Juana María mentioned that when he left home she was very young, since Miguel is the oldest of eight siblings, five men and three women; but his mother always spoke to him about him, so that “he would always be in her mind and heart.”

“My brother really shouldn’t locate me either, but I think that when I have the opportunity to find him again, I will hug him and give him all the love that at this time we couldn’t give him,” she sobbed.

He clarified that no brother is asking for money to give interviews, much less demanding that they support them financially, as he argued that there are people on social networks posing as them to profit from the issue.

“We are not asking for money, much less to give us things, all we want is to help us locate my brother to call my mother, she needs it right now,” he said.

“The Prosecutor’s Office harasses us”

Eusencio Córdova explained to MILENIO that the Prosecutor’s Office “harassed” him to ask them not to give statements about his brother’s case, because according to the authorities, they are hindering the investigations.

“They told us that if I wanted to follow up on my brother’s case and for us to know what was the body that we buried six years ago we would no longer be giving interviews, because if they weren’t going to help us,” he said.

He pointed out that they communicated with him through Messenger, so that he could visit the agency as soon as possible, however, Eusencio refused to go, as he pointed out that he has no resources and will not do so, since he was not “the one who made the mistake ”.

Likewise, MILENIO consulted the State Prosecutor’s Office, where they confirmed that there was an initial approach with Miguel’s brother to present himself “in case he wanted to review the matter.”

“The delivery of the erroneous body was made in 2015 by the last administration, in addition to that at that time there were no protocols that exist at the moment,” they highlighted.

Now, the Prosecutor’s Office has a genetics laboratory that, in case of recognizing the victim, can take samples to achieve identification with scientific evidence and not “only by particular signs or tattoos, as apparently happened on that occasion.” , they pointed out.
