Khaled Murtaji, the treasurer of Al-Ahly Club, has been undergoing an emergency medical crisis in recent days, forcing him to travel to England.
Murtaji has undergone in recent days in-depth medical examinations at a medical center in London, after experiencing severe pain, which forced him to undergo such tests.
On Wednesday, Murtaji was in attendance at a telecommunications company-sponsored signing ceremony for Al-Ahly Club, before suffering a medical crisis which forced him to urgently travel to England and undergo several thorough medical tests there to check himself. .
Khaled Murtaji is expected to attend the club’s general assembly meeting this Tuesday evening via ‘Zoom’ technology, after his medical condition prevented him from being present today with the Al-Ahly General Council.
The club’s board of directors wanted to call Khaled Murtaji to check him and assured that in the next few hours he will hold a session with the doctor who treated him to find out the results of the analyzes he had conducted in recent days.
Earlier, Engineer Khaled Murtaji presented the budget and its numbers to the Board of Directors after its approval by the Auditor, that budget reflecting the great efforts of the Board of Directors and finance managers and the success in achieving the difficult equation by increasing revenue in line with large expenditures for the club and its four branches and all of its sports teams in several matches.
The board recently approved the largest budget in the club’s history of £3.87m, resulting in a net profit of £149.853m.
