“At that time I was asked by the Minister directly in his office, there was a lawyer there, I immediately gave him Rp. 3 billion,” Adi said at the Corruption Court in Jakarta, Monday (8/3/2021), quoted from Antara.
During the trial, Adi was present as a witness for two accused bribes of former Social Minister Juliari Peter Batubara, namely Harry Van Sidabukke and Ardian Iskandar Maddanatja.
According to Adi, the Rp 3 billion in cash came from the official who made the commitment (PPK) at the Ministry of Social Affairs, Matheus Joko Santoso.
“I asked Pak Joko for the ‘fees’ that Pak Joko collected,” said Adi.
