Isakov left the board of LFF at his own request. However, at the LFF Congress on Friday, July 3, elections of the new board will take place and Isakov is not running for a seat on the board. That is why Isakov’s move is very symbolic.

Isakov has been a member of the LFF Board since 2013, as well as the head of the club competition committee.

From 1997 to 2005, the former player of the defensive position, Isakov, represented the Latvian national team.
