IOS 16 lets you delete even more Apple apps than ever before

For a few years now, it has been possible to delete Apple’s own, included apps such as Shares or Books. With iOS 16, Apple is increasing the number of apps that can be deleted, write Appleinsider.

In iOS 16, the apps Camera, Clock, Find, and Health can now also be thrown away. In total, 30 of Apple’s apps can be deleted in the current beta version of iOS 16.

As before, however, not all functionality disappears if the apps are deleted. For example, the Contacts app can be deleted, while the contact information is retained on the phone.
