The girl, identified only by her short name Mila, was forced to change schools because her abusive Instagram video sparked criticism and sparked debate over the right to offend religious beliefs.
“The Koran contains nothing but hatred, Islam is a disgusting religion,” the teenage girl said in a statement posting first on Instagram in January 2020. He was 16 years old at the time.

Mila was placed under police protection with her family in Villefontaine, a town outside Lyon in southeastern France.
President Emmanuel Macron came to his defense, saying; “The law is clear. We have the right to blaspheme, criticize and caricature religion.”
