The spokeswoman for the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), Josefina Capellán, reported that at least two people were injured after a confrontation between agents of the entity and alleged drug traffickers.

The incident occurred during the first hours of Monday in an operation at sea, in the area of ​​San Pedro de Macorís.

The entity will offer more details in a press conference to be held at 5:00 pm on Monday.

Chaplain informed LISTÍN DIARIO that the injured are in stable condition and detained. The entities of the same are still unknown.
