The spokeswoman for the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), Josefina Capellán, reported that at least two people were injured after a confrontation between agents of the entity and alleged drug traffickers.
The incident occurred during the first hours of Monday in an operation at sea, in the area of San Pedro de Macorís.
The entity will offer more details in a press conference to be held at 5:00 pm on Monday.
Chaplain informed LISTÍN DIARIO that the injured are in stable condition and detained. The entities of the same are still unknown.
