Madagascar Police Minister Serge Gelle sailed for almost 12 hours after his helicopter crashed at sea. It is reported by BBC.

“This is not the time for me to die,” Gelle said during his hospitalization.

Another security officer also survived, flying with the minister in a helicopter.

The helicopter pilot and another military man on board are missing.

A helicopter with the minister took off to inspect shipwreck in the northeast of the country on Monday night. The maritime agency said the death toll in the accident has risen to 64, with at least 20 people still missing. The ship was a cargo ship that was not allowed to carry passengers. It sank due to being overloaded.
