The firefighters intervened urgently in the night from Saturday to Sunday in the east of Lyon.

Around 12:30 a.m., rescuers were notified of an incident involving a lone car on the embankment of the course of the 3rd millennium, in Saint-Priest. If the passenger managed to get out of the damaged Porsche 911, the driver was found incarcerated and in cardiac arrest. The 54-year-old man was removed from the cabin and rushed to hospital. His vital prognosis was engaged during his trip to the Édouard Herriot hospital in Lyon.

An investigation has been opened to understand the circumstances of the tragedy. Excessive speed could be the cause of the accident.
