Hyundai offers an electrified proposal to rival the best competitors in the B-SUV sector, with its new Kona and mild-hybrid, full hybrid and electric engines. Let’s not forget that we are talking about a car that has marked the success of the brand, and continues to do so.
A much appreciated SUV since its launch, in just three years it has become one of the most popular Hyundai models, since September 2017 they have been sold approximately 230,000 units in Europe, of which almost 34,000 in Italy. Exterior design and interior look
New Kona presents several novelties, starting with a even more daring and innovative exterior design, combined with an adventurous personality. For Hyundai Kona the House is spacious the range of electrified engines, thus reaching new heights in terms of sustainability. The SUV is also renewed in the motorization Full Hybrid, first launched in September 2019, responding to the demand for sustainable mobility solutions without neglecting driving pleasure, active safety and connectivity as a leader in the segment.
The new Kona Hybrid takes up the design of the family However, it stands out thanks to new alloy wheels with a dedicated design. New Kona Electric: equipment and autonomy
On the list of the completely renewed Kona SUV for 2021 there is also the new electric version, Kona Electric, which presents several innovations starting from a strongly revisited exterior design, able to give the car an even more distinctive and unique character. Awarded with numerous awards around the world, Kona Electric is the best-selling electric SUV in Italy in 2020 and features state-of-the-art safety equipment, advanced technologies and a true ‘best in class’ range and efficiency. The electric SUV is in fact able to guarantee up to 484 km in the combined WLTP cycle and over 660 km in the urban cycle.
Hyundai has a big goal, to make New Kona Electric a better product for its customers. This is the reason why the range extends proposing three new trim levels: XTech City, XLine and XClass. All are offered in combination with two different battery cuts (39 kWh or 64 kWh) to provide an even wider choice. The list price of this zero-emission version starts at € 35,850.
Hyundai informs that all the cars of its brand that are marketed today in Italy already comply with the WLTP homologation cycle and have the unique Hyundai warranty of “5 years with unlimited km” and the 8-year / 160,000 km warranty on the high voltage battery. .
