JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia ( MMKSI) officially introduces the program ” Xpander Extended SMART Package “which takes effect on September 14, 2020.
This program is specially made for old Xpander owners whose unit’s service life has entered its third year and also the vehicle mileage has reached 50,000 km.
M. Ikhsan, Head of Field Business Development and Dealer Kaizen Project Department of MMKSI, said the background of this program was none other than to make it easier for consumers to carry out car maintenance in an efficient cost.
“This program is an effort to ensure the quality, comfort and safety of products by maintaining vehicles in official workshops and using Mitsubishi spare parts. This program has started last week at all Mitsubishi 3S dealers in Indonesia,” Ikhsan said in a virtual discussion, Wednesday (23 / 9/2020).

Ikhsan further explained, the reason this program was made only for old Xpander users who were three years old or the odometer reached 50,000 km, was because the package Smart obtained when buying in 2017 and has started to run out.
Through this program, in addition to providing easy maintenance at an efficient cost, MMKSI also strives to maintain the level of consumer arrivals to the workshop and dismiss images regarding the price of spare parts which are quite expensive.
By using this package, consumers or owners of old Xpander can save up to 25 percent maintenance costs compared to normal maintenance costs without a package.
Ikhsan also explained that the Xpander Extendee Smart package is different from the usual Smart package that you get when buying a car. If the Smart package, which is the usual program, remembers the car, the Xpander Extended Smart is more to the owner
“If the Smart package that comes with the vehicle remembers the vehicle, so if the car has changed hands or the car has been sold, the second consumer can still use it. Only for this new package, we must explain that it cannot be transferred to the next owner,” said Ikhsan.

To get this program, old Xpander consumers only need to contact all Mitsubishi 3S dealers. After purchasing a package, consumers will get a free replacement spare part and free of charge services according to certain items included in the package.

There are three packages offered and can be selected in the Xpander Extended Smart program, namely:
1. 2x periodic maintenance: consisting of selected periodic maintenance items (engine oil, oil filter, AC filter, gasket), and free replacement of these items, which can be used for 2x periodic maintenance that is valid for up to 20 thousand km or 1 year. Consumers can also get an extended warranty of 1 year or 30,000 km.
2. 4x periodic maintenance: consisting of selected periodic maintenance items (engine oil, oil filter, AC filter and gasket) and free item replacement service fees, which can be used for 4x periodic maintenance valid for up to 40 thousand km or 2 years. Consumers also get an extended warranty period of up to 1 year or 30 thousand km.
3.6x periodic maintenance: consisting of selected periodic maintenance items (engine oil, oil filters, AC filters and gaskets) and free item replacement service fees, which can be used for 6 times periodic maintenance valid for up to 60 thousand km or 3 years and consumers get an extended warranty period of up to 1 year or 30 thousand km.
