Hollywood actor Matthew Perry, best known for his role as Chandler in the TV series Friends, has died at the age of 54. reports TMZ citing sources.
According to the publication, Perry drowned in the jacuzzi. Emergency services responded to a call about cardiac arrest. The actor, in his memoirs published last year, reported that he suffered from alcohol and drug addiction, but no illegal substances were found at the scene of the incident, TMZ clarifies. Perry also had health problems.

Perry was born in Williamstown, Massachusetts on August 19, 1969, and grew up in Ottawa, Canada.
