Vanity Fair magazine published the first frames of the film “Dune” by Denis Villeneuve (Blade Runner 2049). This is a screen version of the fantastic saga of Frank Herbert.
According to the plot, in the future, powerful families seized power in the galaxy. Clans pick up distant planets and get there a valuable substance called “spice”. Duke Paul Atreides (Timothy Chalamet) arrives on the sandy planet Arrakis transferred to his possession. But his competitors from the Harkonnenov’s house are organizing a military coup – and seizing power themselves.
In addition to Chalamet, Oscar Isaac, Zendaya, Javier Bardem, Jason Momoa, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin and others starred in the film. The music for the picture was written by Hans Zimmer.
The premiere of “Dunes” is scheduled for December 17.
