A man died after being shot in the head while sitting in a parked car in the Bronx (NYC), in the middle of the morning.
According to the NYPD, the victim was sitting in a 2000 Mazda when a gunman approached and shot him around 8:40 a.m. Sunday, at Wilder Avenue and Cranford Avenue in the Wakefield neighborhood. After the shots were fired, a neighbor saw the mortally wounded victim, reported Daily News.
Police found the unidentified deceased with a shot to the left side of the head just inside the car. It’s unclear if that was the victim’s vehicle or neighborhood.
Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the 34-year-old man dead. His name and address were immediately released, hoping to notify his family first, he said. amNY.com
