Police arrest foursome for kidnapping man from Bergen op Zoom | NOW

Police officers arrested four men along the A16 near Zevenbergschen Hoek on Tuesday for kidnapping and injuring a sixty-year-old man from Bergen op Zoom, the police reported on Wednesday.

Officers wanted to check a car with a Spanish license plate on Tuesday afternoon around 4:30 PM. When the officers stopped the vehicle at a gas station, it turned out that an injured man was in the car. He said that he had been stabbed and beaten in the car by the four other men. The police then arrested the foursome.

The suspects are between 24 and 51 years old and have no permanent place of residence or residence. They have been transferred to a detention center and remain in prison for the time being. The victim was transported to hospital by ambulance. After treatment he was able to leave the hospital.

The police suspect that the man from Bergen op Zoom has been kidnapped by the foursome and are investigating the case.
