The Wu-Tang Clan, consisting of RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, and “Ol’ Dirty Bastard” and “Cappadonna”, who passed away in 2004, became one of the most influential and successful collectives in the history of rap music.
“GZA” released his solo debut album “Words from the Genius” in 1991. This laid the foundation for his solo career and growth as an artist. In 1995, he released the album “Liquid Swords”, ranked among the “Top 100” best albums in history. The platinum-certified record has become a hip-hop classic.
