It was early this Saturday morning when the explosions rang out in Rillieux-la-Pape, north of Lyon.
According to Le Progrès, residents heard gunshots near the Avenue de l’Europe around 6:30 am. Once there, the police uncovered cases (small outlets, ed) in the middle of the road. The collisions also damaged a building, in particular the entrance door, a staircase and a shutter on the first floor of the building.
Also according to our colleagues, a trace of blood was found by the investigators sent to the scene of the shooting. However, no injuries were found, the emergency services were not alerted. An investigation has been opened in this area known for hosting drug trafficking.
