Group cuts Second Circular in illegal tribute to victims of car accidents – Portugal

Two hundred friends and family of the three men who died in a high-speed accident on Friday, apparently in an illegal race, cut this Sunday morning at the Second Circular, at the scene of the accident, in an illegal tribute to Tino Sousa, Nuno Martins and Júnior Costa.

They left the police in a panic, created pandemonium with cars and motorbikes stopped indiscriminately on the main highway in Lisbon and only demobilized after more than 30 minutes – they launched balloons (without risk to the airport that was already stopped at that time).

“It was incredible. When the police arrived there was nothing else to do. They stopped motorcycles and cars on the bucket, went out on the road and started paying homage. The police did not confront them so as not to aggravate the situation and tried to drain the traffic through the most on the right, “he told the CM a witness.

The three men overturned a 380 horsepower GLA 45 AMG Mercedes that costs 80,000 euros. The car, which comes from the factory limited to a maximum speed of 250 km / h, had been tampered with and one of the occupants made videos of racing with other cars that night, showing the speed of 300 km / h.

Tino Sousa left two children and would own the car on behalf of his wife. Like Nuno Martins, he lived in the Quinta do Loureiro neighborhood, Alcântara, where most of the people who stopped the 2nd Circular were from.

Júnior Costa was from the 06 de Maio neighborhood, Damaia, and has a son. They all met in the Benfica’s No Name Boys.
