Gillian Anderson has no plans to wear a bra ever again. The actress, who starred as Margaret Thatcher in The Crown, said via an Instagram Live video that she finds bras “extremely uncomfortable”.

“I just don’t wear them anymore, I’m stopping. I don’t care if my breasts hang over my belly button because of that. Personally, I prefer to go through life without a bra. After being in quarantine for months and walking around the house in a T-shirt or undershirt, I have become even more convinced that this piece of clothing is a thing of the past for me,” said Gillian.
Fans are delighted with Anderson’s ‘confession’. “I’ve never worn bras and got a lot of comments about them. But now that I know that Gillian Anderson doesn’t either, it makes me feel good. Why should women have to wear those nasty and painful things if they don’t have to?” wrote one follower.
