Gianni Morandi went to the hospital – Curious

The favorite of the Italians, the singer Gianni Morandi, was admitted urgently to a hospital after a burn in his home, the publications “Republika” and “Libero” reported, quoted by BTA.

Morandi was cleaning his yard and decided to set fire to withered branches. After lighting the fire, he lost his balance and fell into the makeshift fire. When he fell, he tried to protect himself with his hand from the flames. As a result, he received a burn on his right arm and legs and had to call an ambulance. After medics at the Bologna hospital’s emergency department examined the famous patient, they decided to transfer him to a clinic in Cesena, which specializes in treating such burns.

The incident scared fans of the 76-year-old singer. On social media, they wished him a speedy recovery. However, some also showed an inappropriate sense of humor, wishing Gianni Morandi not to be infected with the coronavirus during his hospital stay. Others recommended that the performer now only sing and not engage in uncharacteristic tasks.

This is not the first such incident during the pandemic with a popular Italian artist. In mid-November, singer NEK, whose real name is Filippo Neviani, was seriously injured in his house in a village in the Sassuolo area while cutting wood. In a moment of inattention, he almost managed to cut off a few fingers, then managed to drive his car to the emergency department of the hospital in Sassuolo, where doctors fought for his hand for 11 hours.

After the severe trauma and the complicated operation, NEK continues to recover for the third month and tries to play the piano. Despite the problems with his hand, he has recently appeared as a host on various programs and participated in several television interviews.
