Residents in Elati Trikala noticed on Saturday morning that the house of Christos Gialias, who was murdered a few days ago, had signs of a burglary. They immediately informed a relative who went to the house and indeed found that some people had entered and ransacked all the rooms.
The Police were informed and rushed to the scene while a team from the forensic laboratories took fingerprints and samples to identify DNA evidence.
They only took the laptop
The relatives of the 59-year-old businessman discovered and reported to the Police that Christos Gialia’s laptop was missing. From the search that followed inside the house, a Kalashnikov, two revolvers, two magazines and bullets were found.
It is believed that the burglary was aimed at the businessman’s laptop and it is being investigated whether the case is related to the murder of the 59-year-old businessman which remains unsolved.
