Full Isolation Room, Cibinong Hospital Rejects Covid-19 Patients

Merdeka.com – Cibinong Hospital, Bogor Regency can no longer accommodate Covid-19 patients. This is because all the isolation rooms at the state-owned hospital are full.

Nina Erina, a resident of Citeureup District, Bogor Regency, had to be refused medical treatment, even though she tested positive for Covid-19 while undergoing a swab test at a private hospital on November 25, 2020.

Nina said she felt flu symptoms and coughed. “That’s why Trimitra Hospital referred me to Cibinong Regional Hospital. But it was rejected on the grounds that the room was full,” said Nina, Friday (27/11).

Cibinong Hospital, then advised Nina to be treated at the 24-hour Puskesmas in Citeureup. “Finally I went to the 24-hour puskesmas in Citeureup. But I didn’t get any services either,” he said.

Finally, Nina and her family took the initiative to find private hospitals in Cibinong and Citeureup so they could get health services. Because he is worried that something untoward will happen to his health.

“I am now being treated at the Husada Cibinong Hospital. So far the service is good according to the Covid-19 protocol standard. The flu is no longer but the stone is still. But when diswab is still positive,” he said.

It was confirmed, Deputy Director of Services at Cibinong Hospital, Fusi Mediawaty denied that there was a patient refusal. “Not rejected. But educated that the room yesterday afternoon was full,” said Fusia.

The woman who is familiarly called the doctor Uci explained that the average patient per day at Cibinong Hospital reaches 120 to 135 patients, with cars in and out. “Meanwhile, the capacity of the beds in our isolation room is 160. It consists of isolation for adults, infants, newborns, pregnant and post-partum women. Plus the ICU and NICU,” he said.
