Targeted for a simple look. Monday, March 16, around 4 p.m., on the platform of a metro station in central Toulouse, a woman took out a weapon and fired bullets “blank” on a passerby who would have looked at her with a little too much insistence , sowing panic among users.
As La Dépêche du Midi relates, the aggressor, a 37-year-old woman, would first have cursed the passenger before taking out a handgun. Pretexting a bad look, she would then have targeted her victim in the legs before shooting twice. As the cartridges did not contain any projectiles, the attack did not cause any injuries.
After being overpowered by a witness, the 30-something was arrested by police from the anti-crime brigade and placed in police custody for “willful violence with a weapon” and “prohibited carrying of a weapon”. Paranoid and suffering from several psychological disorders, she was automatically hospitalized.
