According to the Korean National Disease Administration and Goyang City, the first dead, Mr. A, was a man in his 50s. Mr. A, who was hospitalized in a nursing hospital in Dong-gu, Ilsan, Goyang City, received the AstraZeneca vaccine at around 9:30 am on the 2nd. After 11 hours of vaccination, symptoms such as chest pain, nausea, and shortness of breath occurred and recovered after receiving emergency treatment. However, he died of a sudden cardiac arrest at 7 am on the 3rd. Mr. A, who died, suffered from underlying diseases such as stroke, kidney disease, diabetes, and Parkinson’s disease.
B (63), the second deceased, was a patient who was admitted to a nursing hospital in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do, with cerebrovascular disease. B said that the patient was vaccinated with AstraZeneca vaccine at 2:30 pm on the 27th of last month, and then showed abnormal symptoms such as fever and systemic muscle pain from 10:30 pm the next day. After that, Mr. B wanted to see if his condition improved, but it worsened again. On the 2nd, the nursing hospital transferred Mr. B to a hospital in Pyeongtaek. After showing symptoms such as sepsis and pneumonia, he died around 10 am on the 3rd.
