“We apologize to passengers for the inconvenience caused. We are providing vouchers and a replacement plane, so they can continue their journey according to schedule,” the British airline added.

As a result of the incident, the British Airways flight from London to Lagos experienced a delay of 4 hours. After the replacement plane arrived, all passengers were flown safely to Nigeria.
