Egypt doctor Mohamed Aboul Ela explained the real reason for the injury of Mahmoud Abdel Rahim “Ganesh”, the Zamalek goalkeeper and the national team in the African Nations Cup.
Mohamed Abu El-Ella, Egypt’s national doctor, had a long conversation with FilGoal.com. In this section, he explains the real reason for Mahmoud “Ganesh’s” injury in the Egyptian team’s training during the Nations of Africa.
Mohamed Abu El-Ela said in statements toFilGoal.com: “Some people said that Ganesh’s injury was due to an excessive training load from Ahmed Nagy, the trainer of the guards. They are just interpretations and interpretations from people and the media, but they are not correct.”
“Gensh was severed by Achilles’ tendon. If we go back to the history of this injury all over the world, we will find that it is very common among guards, defenders, and pivots.”
The team doctor followed, “Achilles’ tendon injury comes to the players with a lot of jumping on the field. And all that happened was that a frenzy descended on the ground after he jumped in the air during training, and that is all.”
“That injury happened before to David Beckham when he was playing as a right back. Javier Zanetti and Laurent Kosselni also suffered. The only one who was exposed to and plays in the position of playmaker is Santi Cazorla, the former Arsenal star, and from Egypt Ahmed Dowidar and Ganesh, and now Saad Samir.”
The team doctor went on, “The injury is also common among NBA players because the basketball game needs to jump constantly.”
Abu El-Ella completed, “This is what happened briefly with Ganesh, and, God willing, he will return to the stadiums soon after he recovered from his injury.”
Gunch was injured during the Egyptian national team training in the 2019 African Nations Cup.
The 32-year-old returned from injury recently and participated in the team’s training, pending his enrollment in the team’s list for the second half of the season.
