FilGoal | News | Fyler: I will stay alone at the hotel … and a session is scheduled for Sunday

Despite staying in his closet since the outbreak of the Corona crisis, coach Rene Fyler is not bored.

Al-Ahly coach spoke to the Swiss newspaper “Blake” about his experience with the Corona virus, as activities in Egypt have almost completely stopped, and his only personal activity is the commitment of his room in his residence hotel.

“I stay in a hotel of 400 rooms, but only 10 people are present during breakfast, some hotel officials, and me,” said Fyler.

He added: “The situation is very calm in Cairo, and starting from seven in the evening there will be a curfew, but I have a gym here, and I work on my computer, I read a lot, and I communicate with people, and therefore I do not feel bored, there are their fate worse.”

Fyler was humbled when asked about his fiery start in the Egyptian League: “It is easy to feel the enthusiasm and support inside the club, but the euphoria did not overwhelm me, especially after the Corona virus crisis, as football became marginal.”

Feiler was planning to travel to his family in Switzerland with the international stoppage of March, but it was struck a wall wide after the outbreak and the freezing of flights.

“Everything stopped until April 4, and there will be more meetings next Sunday, and we will discuss things in the medium term,” Fyler continues.

He also stressed the priority of public health: “It does not depend now on whether we win the title or not, but that the players are in good health, and then football can give us hope and distraction in these difficult times.”

If he stayed in his room for a long time, what would his condition be? Weiler completed the dialogue with an answer that demonstrated his mentality of training: “I will search for the best solutions, for I am not pessimistic.”

Feiler leads Al-Ahly since the beginning of this season, and led him to achieve 16 victories and draws in the first 17 rounds of the Egyptian League, as he climbed to the semi-finals of the African Champions League.
