Malik Sanchez, 19 years old, who identifies himself on the networks as “Incel” or in involuntary celibacy (there are internet forums of men who blame women for their celibacy), was accused of transmitting “false and misleading information“, a crime that carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison, according to a statement from the Prosecutor’s Office.

Several people tried to get him to stop, but Sánchez sprayed one of them with pepper spray in the face. It was finally arrested by the police and charged, but he was released on bail.
The video for which he was arrested today was filmed on February 13 and shows him making the hoax bomb threat.

One person called emergency number about the threat but when the police arrived, Sánchez had already left.
