In episode 18 of the podcast video show “Was Isch Los?” Presenter Markus Lang has the reigning German champion Marcel Hetzel from Wiesloch as a guest. Marcel works full-time in the bathing world in Sinsheim. There he not only makes sauna infusions, but also works as a shift supervisor, bathing supervisor and leads courses in water aerobics. He first came into contact with show infusions in 2015 at the World Championships in Sinsheim. He himself qualified through various tournaments for the German championship and the world championship with his current show infusion, which bears the title Pompeii.

The atmosphere at a championship is often different from that in everyday life, as the visitors know what to expect. It often takes up to six months from the idea to the finished infusion. For Marcel Hetzel it was something special that from one day to the next newspapers, radio or television became interested in him. OW he has since been booked as a show act by other thermal baths. On a normal working day he does 2-4 infusions; After work he still plays successfully in the national league football. He is very happy that he is allowed to work in a job in which he usually only has contact with grateful people.
In addition, Marcel has been running a company called “Pure Nature Oil” with two friends for 1.5 years. Specialized for thermal baths, the three sell over 150 products from oil to sauna trowels.
