Al-Marsad Newspaper: An Egyptian woman named Heba Shaaban responded to her husband’s claim that he was deceived, and that he discovered on their wedding night that she combines the characteristics of masculinity and femininity together.
The woman said that she did not know that she had any problems with her reproductive system, and that the beginning of her knowledge was from her husband, who declared this to her immediately after consummation.
The woman explained that she was a male while she was a child, then she underwent a conversion procedure, because she was born with a congenital defect in the external genitalia due to kinship, and she underwent a repair operation for the external genitalia when she was 9 months old, adding: “Everything I need is for a female, and there is no need to prove it.” If I am male, I demand to be referred to forensic medicine.”
And she confirmed that her husband’s words are completely untrue, referring to the conversation that took place between her and her husband, which caused her to collapse: “My husband said to me on the day of the wedding before any need: You were a boy and you did a transfer operation when you were young.. I was in a state of astonishment.. and I screamed and collapsed. I cried..and spoke to my family..and asked to go back to my family, and he refused.
She explained that he did not separate from her and she remained in his house for 7 months, which is the duration of her marriage to him, and that she became pregnant with him and suffered a miscarriage because of his severe beatings, adding: “”A liar and he entered me..and I had an abortion because of him..and preferred to marry him for 7 months..she got pregnant. And he aborted me because he hit me.”
She indicated that her husband’s family were greedy for them, that her father was spending on her husband, and that her husband’s mother told her, “Let your father pay 70,000 pounds for the price of the furniture, and I will live for you.”
