Al-Marsad Newspaper: A video clip documented the moment an Egyptian teacher was sentenced to 7 years in prison, on charges of killing a female student inside an elementary school in Assiut Governorate, southern Egypt.
The security services in Assiut had arrested the teacher on charges of causing the death of a fifth-grade student, after he assaulted her in class. According to “Cairo 24”.
The teacher and some of his colleagues tried to resuscitate the student and help her, but to no avail, and she was then transferred to the hospital, and after a medical examination was performed on her, the doctors told them that she had died.
A report was drawn up on the incident and the Public Prosecution Office, which undertook the investigations, was notified and referred the accused to the Criminal Court, which decided to punish him with 7 years imprisonment.
