Edurne is seizing 2020: new album and about to be a mom. “I have no complaints about this 2020”, confesses the singer, that “I had planned to release the album in April”, but had to delay the launch due to the pandemic and Catharsis came out in June.
One of the songs on this album is ‘Like you’, that now has versioned with Corridor Effect. “I told them to incorporate their roll”, explains the artist, who is very happy with the result of this collaboration and consider that “it’s a luxury” having worked with the band.
Another of Edurne’s latest collaborations is ‘I’d rather forget you’, with MANTRA, the band of Carlos Marco. The artists explain some secrets of the video clip, recorded in Formentera when the artist knew she was pregnant but had not yet told anyone: “When I shot with Carlos Marco I was already pregnant and nobody knew it.”
And it is that the singer announced that she was expecting her first child with a photograph on social networks. “I also did not want it to be the typical photo, but was symbolic “, says Edurne and explains that the picture “it describes very well how our life is going to be from now on”.
A different Christmas awaits Edurne and, although she likes to spend them with her family, this year she will be alone with her husband and they already think about what the next ones will be like, when they already have their baby. Also, to brighten these days, the artist has presented a very christmas song: ‘It’s always Christmas with you’.
