Eat. When reading the indictment, Ramona K. (32) turns away from the audience and looks at the table in front of her. With her hand she tries to cover her face. Between January and June 2017, she is said to have sent her then partner several pictures in which she performs sexual acts with her only three-year-old daughter.
“I plead guilty,” Ramona K. said at the beginning of the trial in the district court eat in room N301. The reason for creating and sending the pictures is simply incredible.

Again and again Ramona K. tugs on the handkerchief in her hands at the dock in Essen. She nervously rubs them together. But her voice is firm, doesn’t break, no tremors. Her first words: “I plead guilty and regret the whole act.”

She had met her partner at the time via an online dating platform. They quickly started to write about Whatsapp, then there is the first personal meeting and sex. Further sexual intercourse meetings in Ramona K.’s apartment in Bottrop follow. But her boyfriend showed not only sexual interest in the 32-year-old – but also in her then three-year-old daughter.

About two weeks after the first sex, the new partner asked that the girl be present during sexual intercourse. Ramona K. refuses, says in court that her daughter has never been there during sex. But she followed another request – with serious consequences.

Her friend at the time expressed specific wishes for what actions she should take on the girl, which she then captured in photos. At first it was a French kiss between the mother and her child. That K. complies with this request seems to spur him on. He asked for ever harder, more violent pictures. The inconceivable: Ramona K. does not break the contact, but continues to send photos.
The “why” is difficult to understand. The 32-year-old from Bottrop had been “left sitting” shortly before by the daughter’s father. After the relationship, it was nice to get “compliments and attention”. Only later did she realize how “stupid” she was to fall for such an “idiot”. “I was afraid to lose the man,” K. tries to explain her actions. In the end she should lose a lot more than she has to admit much too late today.
“Lost the most important thing”
“I have lost the most important thing in my life that I had. I lost my child, ”says the 32-year-old, adding:“ I would like to undo everything if I could. ”
Nevertheless, it takes several months for Ramona K. to pull the rip cord. A meeting at which her new acquaintance turns up with a blood-smeared T-shirt raises the suspicion of the 32-year-old that there may be “other women involved”. The man said it was from a flat tire – but K. had not discovered any cuts on his hands at the time.
The judge then puzzles whether this is the reason for the breakup of the relationship and not the terrible pictures of the daughter. K. replied that it was both. She wants to break contact with him, says that she is happy in a new relationship, would marry soon. But even then, messages are said to have been sent between her and the man. However, there were no further pictures of the daughter or meetings.
Thousands of chat histories examined
Ramona K. is not the only woman who sent pictures to the man in question. A separate trial is being conducted against him. Several thousand chat histories that he had run with various women via Whatsapp have already been evaluated. In many cases, this should also include child pornography. So the investigators also tracked down Ramona K.
