The social representative of the Territorial Coordination in Cuauhtémoc Dos also initiated the corresponding investigation folder and its legal situation is expected to be defined in the next few hours.

In accordance with the Federal Law on monuments and archeological, artistic and historical areas, Article 52 indicates that whoever damages, alters or destroys an archeological, artistic or historical monument, will be imposed with a prison term of three to ten years and a fine up to value of the damage caused.

However, when the damage is not intentional, the provisions of the chapter on the application of penalties for wrongful crimes of the Federal Criminal Code will be followed.
