EA Sports WRC will not be classified as games that will not run at 60 frames per second on the current generation of consoles. Codemasters has confirmed that they are targeting 60fps on all consoles and the difference will be in resolution.
It will be 4K on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, while 1440p on Xbox Series S. In the case of more powerful consoles, we should receive graphic settings corresponding to high settings on PC. For Xbox Series S, the graphics should match medium or low settings on PC.
In all cases, EA Sports WRC uses dynamic resolution. This is how developers are able to guarantee a stable frame rate.
EA Sports WRC runs on Unreal Engine 5 and will be released on 11/3 this year for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
