driver throws molotov bomb at patrol in Brooklyn

One subject was detained by authorities after throwing a chemical compound and a Molotov cocktail at police officers in Brooklyn.

These images were captured by the body cameras carried by the uniformed in East Flatbush.

The incident occurred, this Saturday, before 8 a.m., near Clarendon Road and East 45th Street.

Police reported that they stopped a car for running a red light and that the driver threw an unknown liquid at one of the officers, causing minor injuries and blurring his vision, before fleeing.

Subsequently, the authorities stopped the vehicle – again – at the height of Snyder Avenue and 55th Street. And according to the police officer, the driver threw a Molotov cocktail towards the police patrol with the agents inside before accelerating again.

Police say the driver eventually crashed and was arrested and that more homemade explosives were found in his vehicle.
