Discourse Appears to Disband FPI, Muhammadiyah Ketum Says This

jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership (PP) Haedar Nashir does not want to be polemic about the discourse on the disbandment of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) mass organization.

Haedar prefers to leave this completely to the state.

“The state already has a constitution, the state already has laws, the state already has rules, and the state already has the tools,” said Haedar Nashir online.

According to him, the implementation of the constitution and laws and regulations along with the apparatus owned is entirely the responsibility of the state.

With these various instruments, according to him, the emergence of various actions against the law such as separatist movements, criminal acts, and other movements against the law should become the authority of the state to take action.

“All kinds of actions that are contrary to the constitution, with legislation, with applicable law, with applicable regulations and policies, will be returned to the state and all its instruments to carry out their duties and obligations,” said Haedar.

According to him, Muhammadiyah and other religious movements have the duty to preach and spread religious values in life so that they do not need to be burdened by things that have become the responsibility of the state.

“Therefore everything is returned to the state on the basis of constitutional law and its regulations and practices to carry out their duties and obligations,” he said.
