Dead Man Found on Inčukalns-Ropaži-Ikškile Highway: Possible Suicide?

The dead man was noticed on the road by a resident of Tīnūžu parish who was driving home along the Inčukalns-Ropaži-Ikškile highway.

The driver’s attention was distracted by a bag flapping on the asphalt. After a moment, the man saw that there was a dead person on the road.

The police officers held talks with the drivers of the involved cars for quite some time. The people around say that the circumstances of the accident are quite confusing, as there is a possibility that the pedestrian ran on the road on purpose, reports the program.

“The only thing we know is that the guy was wearing a white T-shirt and was 34 years old. It is said that he ran over a car, but the driver managed to avoid it, while the next car did not. It sounds like a suicide,” says a local resident.
