The club competition will be played in Salvadoran soil between November 25 and December 1, 2024
After the success of the inaugural tournament of this competition in 2023, the second edition of the Américas Winners Cup will take place at the Playa Sports Stadium, at the Flor Blanca Sports Complex, in San Salvador.
After having held the second edition of El Salvador Beach Soccer Cup 2024, just last March, the action returns again to the Salvadoran sand this year. And like the Américas Winners Cup 2023, this new tournament will feature the participation of men’s and women’s clubs from North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
Joan Cuscó, President of Beach Soccer Worldwide stated: “We are very excited to host the Americas Winners Cup in El Salvador once again and to host another fantastic event for the Salvadoran fans in 2024, who have always shown great support. incredible for beach soccer. We are sure of the participation of clubs from North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean, which will offer a wonderful show next November.”
For his part, Yamil Bukele, ad honorem president of the National Sports Institute of El Salvador (INDES), commented: “It is an honor and a pride to continue working hand in hand with Beach Soccer Worldwide, now with the second edition of the Americas Winners Cup. We are waiting for the best beach soccer clubs on the continent at the new Beach Sports Stadium in San Salvador and we want the Salvadoran fans to continue enjoying the excitement that this sport generates.”
In 2023, Barra de Santiago’s Salvadoran team won the men’s tournament, while Brazil’s São Pedro lifted the women’s trophy.
