With all this, The first step is to check if we have updated the latest version of WhatsApp and then go to the chat of the person with whom we do not want to leave a trace. Once we are in the conversation, we must click on the name of the contact above right next to their profile picture.
When we keep it pressed, we will see the user information, but if we go further down The ‘Temporary Messages’ option will appear and that is where we must click. From here, we will only have to choose the duration we want for these messages which can be one day, seven or even ninety.
If you want to make the conversation disappear, it is best to choose the 24-hour option. Once the time is selected, we will have this activity function and all the messages of that chat from photos, videos or documents will automatically disappear after the selected time.

When we activate it, A notice will appear reminding us that you have activated temporary messages. In the same conversation, there will be a clock indicating that this feature is active.
It is very simple and In case we want to deactivate it, we will simply have to access the ‘Temporary Messages’ function again and press the deactivate button. It is important to keep in mind that from the moment we activate it, will only affect new messages and the previous conversation will not suffer any modification.
