COVID-19: Minsa prepares an application to verify the authenticity of the vaccination card

The Ministry of Health reported that it is developing an application to verify the authenticity of vaccination cards against covid-19, which should be in operation in the coming days.

“An application will be launched that will help us verify the data of vaccinated people, which will also help to verify if the information (on the card) is real,” announced Alexis Holguín Ruíz, general director of the General Directorate of Strategic Interventions in Public Health from the Ministry of Health to the Andina agency.

He anticipated that said technological tool will be ready in the coming days, before the entry into force of the entry restrictions for people who do not have their vaccines up to date.

As of December 10, those over 18 years of age who want to enter theClosed spaces will have to show their vaccination card with the two dosess of the vaccine against the new coronavirus on a mandatory basis, otherwise they will be prevented from doing so.
