Klopp: Divock Origi the Legend

Jakarta

Manager Liverpool Jürgen Klopp can’t hide his joy over the dramatic goal Divock Origi which ruined the Wolverhampton Wanderers match. Klopp called Origi a legend.

Almost throughout the match Liverpool struggled to find the ball against Wolves. But in the fourth minute of injury time, Origi’s action was finally able to make the difference.

Origi himself entered as a substitute in this Premier League match. The 26-year-old Belgian striker came on for Jordan Henderson in the 68th minute, before his action in injury time.

“He’s such a solid player, such a great person. Coming in and contributing like this, scoring goals, is incredible. I’m very, very happy for him,” Klopp told BBC Radio 5 Live.

For Divock Origi, the BBC called the goal as well as marking his 100th appearance as a Liverpool substitute. His goal against Wolves was his 10th as a substitute in the Premier League. There has never been another Liverpool player as super Origi in terms of scoring goals as a substitute in this event.

“Divock Origi, the legend, got it done and it’s a beautiful story,” Klopp told Sky Sports.

“He is an extraordinary striker. For various reasons, he doesn’t play often, but I hope one day he will get a manager who plays him more often than me.”

“He is one of the players with the best finishing I have ever seen in my life. In this great team, with our three (forwards) he has played very little. But he is a positive lad, loves this club, wants to contribute and today he is have done incredible,” said Klopp.
