Because a returnee from Spain celebrated last Saturday in two bars in Hamburg, around 130 people are now being quarantined. In the meantime it turned out: The man was infected with the corona virus while on vacation.
To be tested negative directly before and after the return trip is not a free ticket, according to the social authorities. The man is said to have had symptoms of illness during his pub visits the day after his arrival and still went to the long row to celebrate. There he is said to have been in the “Kitty Wu” pub for some time and in the “M&V Bar” from 8pm to 1am. Presumably, the hygiene regulations were not applied strictly enough in both companies. The table distances were too small and there was only one app check-in for an entire pub.

Affected persons not isolated for another five days
As a result, everyone who was there at the same time as the infected person is now quarantined. Depending on the case, up to 14 days. This also applies to those who have already been fully vaccinated. Since that evening, these 130 Hamburg residents have been out and about in the city for five days. If further infections arise, their contacts must also isolate themselves. More than 1,000 people are quickly affected by such a case.
